Tanya tentang berat keseluruhan kerusi dan berat selepas bateri ditanggalkan, kapasiti muatan, tempoh pengecasan, cara menyimpan bateri, jenis tayar, serta tempoh mendapatkan alat ganti. Bagi kerusi yang akan digunakan di luar rumah, tanyakan secara terus sama ada ia sesuai untuk cerun, jalan tidak rata dan cuaca harian Malaysia. Jawapan yang jelas lebih bernilai daripada janji umum.

Kerusi roda elektrik yang sesuai tidak semestinya model paling ringan, paling besar atau paling penuh fungsi.
